Down on the Downey Farm

The twins and Nathan were delighted to help Sima celebrate her 4th birthday on Sunday at Downey's Farm Market in the midst of their Pumpkin Festival celebrations. Just before getting covered in pizza sauce and chocolate birthday cake, we visited the farm's pumpkin patch where we snapped a few pictures, but decided unanimously to spare any pumpkin from being taken home and subjected to the kids' paintbrushes.

Ally and Jamie take a break together. I think they're looking and laughing at daddy hoisting pumpkins over his head.

The fact that sometimes there's not always a clear pathway between the pumpkins didn't stop Ally. She had a blast scrambling around and over all the big orange spheres.
