First Day Jitters

It's been an interesting couple of days. Since finding out Nathan's preschool start date was today, we've been really talking about school with him and although he gets excited, you can also tell that he's a little anxious. After almost six weeks with no potty mistakes, he's made three major ones in the last two days and he didn't want to eat his breakfast this morning, but was finally convinced to eat some toast by letting him sit under the baby highchairs to have it in a "special" bowl.

His teacher Mrs. B is really nice, but Nathan hasn't quite developed the patience or interest in listening to what she has to say. It was all about the activities! Mom left him this morning with a smock on painting up a storm! We're looking forward to hearing what he has to say about school at lunchtime.
