Beating the Heat

With temperatures soaring in the high thirties we didn't stay for too long, but this morning we took a walk over to the Applewood Acres Annual picnic. While mommy and the twins tried to stay cool in the shade of a tree, Nathan didn't let the heat slow him down a bit - he played with the show dogs (much to Darwin's chagrin), tried out the make-shift carnival games, and took daddy shopping at the neighbourhood yard sale. He stopped long enough to refuel on burgers and hot dogs which gave us a chance to get him into his stroller and back home for his afternoon nap.
